Jo completed the Wilmslow 10k. This is a fast a popular race starting in Wilmslow town centre, the route completes a loop around the town returning to the centre. The weather did not deter runner with 4,854 runners taking part. Jo had an excellent race finishing in 47:13.

Josie Greenhalgh and Tony Marlow competed in the SROC night street orienteering finale in Lancaster on Wednesday. They had a fantastic season, winning the pair trophy 🏆. Well done both.
Rachel Stevens headed to Lancaster to compete in the Trimpell 20. This is a 20 mile race that follows the River Lune, the race is a must for runners preparing for a Spring marathon. Rachel completed the race in 3:37:30.
Johanna McManus headed to Lancaster to compete in the Mother’s Day 10k. Jo crossed the finish line as the third female in an impressive 48.29.
Tony Marlow completed the Black Combe fell Race in the Lakes. The race covers 8 miles and 3,800ft of elevation gain. Marlow finished the race in 1:54. Marlow was not presented with a medal at the end of the race but was rewarded with a pie and unlimited cups of tea.
Following the awards, Lostockers had a very busy weekend racing. On Saturday Janet Rhodes, Greg Kilshaw and Sally McCoy headed to Haworth to complete the Haworth Hobble Ultra. Lostock AC members joined the Rivington Heritage Trust to collect litter around Rivington. Members spent 2 hours collecting a range of items, including a fishing pole, t-shirt, glasses and lots of empty alcohol containers. Lostockers filled 6 rubbish bags with items that we found.

It was initially presumed that the race would be cancelled but despite the mud, the race was on! As part of our Wednesday night social run, we ran to meet the fantastic people of the @boltonmountainrescue to present them with a cheque for £400. This was the money raised at the Leo Pollard Fell Race. All the money raised from this race is donated to this vital charity.
