Lostockers at the Worsley Woods 5 mile Trail Race on Sunday. This was the final instalment of the Road/Trail Championship so there was a fantastic Lostock turn out.
The race is organised by Swinton Running Club and it is part of the Central Lancashire Grand Prix. It has a fast start, downhill along the Roe Green loop line. At the end of the loop line, participants head back to the start through the trails of Worsley Woods, the track back was wet and muddy making the second half of the race slower and more challenging.
The first Lostock AC member to cross the finish line was Dave P in a fantastic 37:40, followed by Hazel and Gareth in an impressive 38:16. They were quickly followed by Andy in 38:28.
