Celebrations were in order at Haigh Woodland Parkrun, where several runners graduated from Lostock AC’s Couch to 5K programme. Alan Atherton-McKenna, Debbie Green, Ben Brookfield, Lisa Gardner, Jo Withers, and Ann-Maria Baker all completed their journey from beginner to 5K finisher, supported by fellow club members.
The runners had been working hard for the past 10 weeks, their training and dedication was evident when they crossed the finish line.
