Road racing success came at the Manchester 10K and Half Marathon. Jo McManus completed the 10K in an impressive 47:41 and enjoyed the added bonus of meeting Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes at the finish line.
Meanwhile, Andy Kerks continued his excellent form by recording a personal best of 1:41:14 in the half marathon.

Saturday brought further celebrations as club members gathered at Parkrun to mark Ian Burns’ 200th Parkrun milestone. A strong Lostock contingent turned out in support, with several runners achieving age-category successes and personal bests. The club’s ever-popular annual Treasure Hunt saw members racing around Westhoughton and Aspull in search of answers to a series of clues devised by club member Mark Smith.
