On Sunday 3 members headed to Newcastle to take part in the iconic Great North Run. The race sees 60,000 participants run from 13.1 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Sheilds. The race is famous for it’s fantastic support all along the course and the red arrows flying over the Tyne Bridge.
Jo was the first Lostocker to pass the renowned finish line in an amazing 1:47:15, she was followed by Chris in 1:53:53 and Stephen in 2:48:17.

The October instalment of the Lostock AC Parkrun Championships took place at Worsley Woods Parkrun, with an impressive 22 Lostockers turning out for the 5k event. Set amongst the picturesque woodland and trails of Worsley, the course provides a mixture of paths, woodland sections and undulating terrain, making it a popular challenge for local runners. ...
