Race Report by Josie
Tony & I traveled to the Lake District today for his first race of the year & we weren’t disappointed. What a fantastic race! Two stiff climbs up to Black Combe’s two summits from almost sea level
. The reward was 360deg views! The descents were equally tough and rough depending on route choice. The race was blessed in sunshine with pie & unlimited cups of tea at the finish all for £8!! 8.1mi/3400ft climb. Tony & I were pleased with our sub 2hr runs. Results to follow. ![]()
