Paul was back in action at the Media City Half Marathon, using the flat but exposed Salford course as preparation for his April marathon.
The race features one large lap around the waterfront and surrounding roads before a shorter closing loop, but strong winds sweeping across the open sections made pacing difficult. Nevertheless, he finished in a fantastic 1:28:30 and now turns his attention to the upcoming Bolton Half Marathon in a fortnight as preparations continue.
