The Runthrough Media City race series returned on Wednesday for 2024. The series runs across the summer months and participants can run either 5k or 10k. As the name suggests the race consist of loops around Media City, Salford with 5k runners completing 2 loops and the 10k is 4 loops.
Rachel completed the 5k having a fantastic race, finishing in 26:25, winning her age category. Dave G completed the 10k, finishing in an impressive 51:08.
There was also a strong Lostock AC turnout at the Warrington Festival of Running, with members taking on both the half marathon and 10K.
