Seven Lostock members headed to Manchester to compete with 12,976 people taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon. The 13.1 mile race starts at Old Trafford and runners head along Bridgewater Way towards Manchester City Centre. Following a U-turn on Deansgate, participants head back towards Old Trafford, passing the stadium and travelling through Stretford and Sale. The final miles loop Chorlton before heading back to the stadium. Lostock AC had some amazing results. Johanna McManus was the first to cross the finish line in an epic 1:44:05, next was Gaz Foulkes 1:47:48, Melonie Crompton-Goodall 01:51:34, Francesca Corcoran 2:39:37, Kate Rotherham 3:16:19 and Scott Rotherham 03:16:20.
