Teenager with Altitude Fell Race Report by Josie.
After spending all week in sliders at work to not irritate my achilles, I thought a 16.7mi race with almost 7000ft ascent in the Lakes would do it a world of good!🙄😬
Thankfully, it didn’t give me any trouble until after the race 😩
It was a pretty warm day and I stupidly changed my nutrition! 🤦♀️🤷♀️ With 2 climbs to go, I started suffering cramp but managed to push on between bouts.
Really chuffed to get round given my current fitness with niggles etc and really surprised to win a voucher for 3rd LV50!🎉 4h40m15s
