This a great local event, really friendly atmosphere, starts with a 5k trail run round lower Rivinton, then 3 laps on the bike on the roads around the reservoir, then repeat the run.
Lostock AC had some fantastic performances with Rachel and Mary winning their age categories.
This is a fantastic entry level event for anyone interested in trying a duathlon.
Lostockers were on tour at Parkrun this weekend: Katie Edern ran 31:33 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to finish third in her age category, while Rachel Stevens produced an excellent run at Oosterplas Parkrun in the Netherlands, finishing in 26:45 to place eighth overall, second female and first in her age category.
