Mark Shuttleworth and Josie Greenhalgh travelled to the Lake District to compete in the Grisedale Horsesh0e Fell Race. This race is organised by Achille Ratti Climbing Club of which some Lostockers are also members.
The race starts from Glenridding Village Hall in the Lake District and takes in the peaks of Catstye Cam, Helvellyn, St Sunday Crag. The race covers 10 miles and 5000 ft of ascent. It was a hot day, resulting in tough racing conditions.
Unfortunately, Greenhalgh suffered an ankle injury and was required to retire from the race.
Despite the tough conditions, Shuttleworth was victorious completing the race in 03:49:34.
