On Sunday 2 Lostockers headed to Southport to complete the Southport 10k. Given the events unfolding in Southport this week, the race saw the running community unite. There was a tribute to the three children that lost their lives and runners left flora tributes.
The race is a flat and fast race. Runners start on the sea front and head along Marine Drive before completing two loops of the marina. The first Lostock AC member to finish was Jo is 48:53. She was followed by Stephen in 1:11:37.
