As part of Lostock AC’s Wednesday evening social run, we completed a Foodbank Run. With the number of food banks on the rise and the number of people using them also increasing, the running community has joined forces to assist. The purpose of the run is to encourage local running clubs to collect items for a local foodbanks and as part of your club run, you run via a food bank dropping off food and supplies.
Lostock AC support the Horwich Food Share, the foodbank supports local families providing everyday essentials to members of the community who are encountering difficult times.
We had a fantastic turn out and hope that out donation will assist Horwich Foodshare to continue to support the people of Bolton.
