Yesterday 5 lostock runners took part in the Trotters 5 mile trail race at Smithills this race is always a surprise as the course changes slightly each year it was a cold start near Smithills Hall this year and a fairly flat start but not for long before you start the up hills very undulating but nice views to keep your mind of the legs Brian and Andy were neck and neck all the way round to the finish Brian just pipped Andy at the post closely followed by Jason then myself and Sheila who did well considering she was full of a cold and bad cough the weather also stayed dry till the finish and the cakes were good at the end as usual good but hard race well done everyone
