Dunnerdale Fell race. This is short race covering just 5 milesbut it was still tough covering an epic 1,900ft elevation gain. The race covers the rugged fells between the Lickle and the Duddon valleys. It is a beautiful but tough course with varied terrain.
Checkers had a fantastic time, stopping to take photographs and enjoying the scenery, finishing in 1:21:26.
Lostockers were on tour at Parkrun this weekend: Katie Edern ran 31:33 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to finish third in her age category, while Rachel Stevens produced an excellent run at Oosterplas Parkrun in the Netherlands, finishing in 26:45 to place eighth overall, second female and first in her age category.
