Markus and Rachel Stevens competed in the August edition of the Media City 5k series. This is a monthly race around the iconic media city. Despite the last-minute decision to attend both had a fantastic race. Rachel achieved a 5k Personal best finishing in 25:02 and securing 2nd in her age category. Markus also achieved a 5k PB of 29:03.
Lostockers were on tour at Parkrun this weekend: Katie Edern ran 31:33 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to finish third in her age category, while Rachel Stevens produced an excellent run at Oosterplas Parkrun in the Netherlands, finishing in 26:45 to place eighth overall, second female and first in her age category.
On the international stage, Paul Edwards represented the club at the Paris Marathon, completing the iconic race in 3:09:52.
