Lostock AC member Hazel Hatfield completed an epic challenge on Saturday 11 November 2023 by completing the Warrington Way.
The race, organised by Lymm Runners, is a 40-mile trail ultramarathon that starts and finishes in the lovely Cheshire village of Lymm, Warrington.
Runners follow a route which is mostly on tracks, footpaths, field crossings and country lanes to circumnavigate the town of Warrington anticlockwise.
This was the second time Hatfield had braved the course and she made her club members proud by securing a PB completing the race in an impressive 8 hours 27 minutes.
