Parkrun results:
Lostock AC members celebrated 2 milestones at Parkrun this weekend with members Lynda Hardman and Katie Edern celebrating their 50th Park run.
The results are as follows:
Bolton Parkrun: Lynda Hardman (31:03);
Haigh Woodland Park: Brian Halton (26;47), Andy Laycock (27:09), Katie Edern (30:23), Matt Withers (30:50), Karen Taylor (33:24) and Lurdes Corlett (33:42).
Skipton Parkrun: Rachel Hancock (34:40).
There was also a strong Lostock AC turnout at the Warrington Festival of Running, with members taking on both the half marathon and 10K. Lostock AC were honoured to win the Unsung Project of the Year award at the England Athletics Regional Volunteer Awards. It was an international outing for two Lostockers as Gill and Chris headed to Denmark to take part in the World Athletics Road Running Championship taking place in Copenhagen.
