Sunday saw the final race in the Central Lancs Grand Prix, the Last Drop 5k race. The race starts at the Last Drop village, starting up a steep tarmac hill before joining the trails around Turton Golf course.
The race then has a steep descent down Charlestown Road before completing a loop at the bottom passing Turton Tower.
Sadly, the steep descent then becomes a steep climb back towards the village. Looping back along the golf club with a very muddy finish and fast sprint through a field to the finish line. This is a short but though race with an elevation gain of 450ft.
