Road Captain, Gareth Pratt completed the City of Preston 10 mile Road Race. This a fast, two lap course starting in Walmer Bridge Village. The course is a mixture of fast straight roads with a scenic lakeside loop towards the end of the lap.
The race is on shared paths and just 1½ miles into the race cyclist collided with Pratt. Pratt was able to dust himself off and despite being injured was still able to complete the race. He finished in an amazing 1:25:41.
