On Sunday 3 members headed to Newcastle to take part in the iconic Great North Run. The race sees 60,000 participants run from 13.1 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Sheilds. The race is famous for it’s fantastic support all along the course and the red arrows flying over the Tyne Bridge.
Jo was the first Lostocker to pass the renowned finish line in an amazing 1:47:15, she was followed by Chris in 1:53:53 and Stephen in 2:48:17.
There was a fantastic turn out of Lostock AC members at Parkrun on 28 December 2024. At Bolton Parkrun, members joined 279 runners. TonyMaxwell was first in 26:37 (3rd in age category), followed by Sheila Garewal 30:30 (2nd in age category and 150th Parkrun),Gillian Caldwell 35:23 (1st in age category) and Stephen Davies 40:00. ...
