Lostockers were out in force for the penultimate race in the Central Lancashire Grand Prix series, the Gin Pit 5 mile Trail Race. The race is organised by local running club, Astley and Tyldesley Road Runners.

Parts of the race were single track with runners being require running in single file. The race was relatively flat, with one steep hill, due to the laps runners were required to complete the hill 3 times, the hill was also just before the finish line. Participants battled to the top of the hill before enjoying a fast flat sprint to complete the race.
