Lostock AC would like to say a huge congratulations to Liz Turner-Allen.
Liz took part in the Blackpool Run the Lights 10k. The race takes place at 9pm and participants run along Blackpool Promenade under the Town’s famous illuminations.
This is the first 10k that Liz has completed, and she was able to run the whole distance in an awesome 1:34:47.
Race report by Janet: Three Lostockers completed the Two Crosses Challenge event on Sunday in glorious running weather. Greg Kilshaw, Sally McCoy and Janet Rhodes completed the 18 miles together in 3 hours and 43 minutes and finished joint 25th out of 254 competitors. 32 miles with just over 5000 feet of climbing. Always a tough run this one and we haven’t been getting much longer running in recently so both chuffed to get round.
