Lostocker Rachel Hancock competed in the Grassmere Duathlon on Saturday 23 March 2024. This is a beautiful race in the Lakes in which takes athletes around Grasmere Village and Water on paths and trails before riding around the roads towards Elterwater.
Rachel completed the sprint distance. This consisted of a 5k run, 20k bike ride and a 2.5k run. Hancock had an amazing race. She finished the duathlon in 1:44:08, crossing the finish line as the 4th female and 1st in her age category.
