Following the awards, Lostockers had a very busy weekend racing. On Saturday Janet Rhodes, Greg Kilshaw and Sally McCoy headed to Haworth to complete the Haworth Hobble Ultra. This a tough race covering 31.7 miles and an elevation gain of 4,396ft.
The race starts at Haworth Primary School. The course traverses gritstone moors around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. Competitors must use their navigational skills and be ready for bad weather. This is a tough race testing the endurance and strength of anyone taking part.
Rhodes was the first Lostocker to complete the gruelling course in 7:06:40, followed by Kilshaw in 7:22:28 and McCoy returning from injury in 07:59:11.
