Saturday saw the second instalment of cross country series. They had previously been cancelled due to bad weather but storm Elin and Ferguson did not deter 8 Lostockers who headed to Heaton Park.
The females run first. Louise, Karen and Gill braved the 2 1/2 laps around the muddy wet park.
The males were next with Paul leading the team, being the first Lostock member to cross the finish line, shortly followed by James, Andy, Greg and Mark.
Lostockers were on tour at Parkrun this weekend: Katie Edern ran 31:33 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to finish third in her age category, while Rachel Stevens produced an excellent run at Oosterplas Parkrun in the Netherlands, finishing in 26:45 to place eighth overall, second female and first in her age category.
On the international stage, Paul Edwards represented the club at the Paris Marathon, completing the iconic race in 3:09:52.
