Lostock members started the festive season by getting involved in Christmas races.
Tony and Sheila headed to Langdale in the Lakes to take part in the Christmas Pudding 10k. This was a wet, muddy and hilly race with an elevation gain of 510ft. As the name suggests, finishers were presented with a Christmas pudding.
Tony had a brilliant run finishing in 53:27. Sheila followed in 1:05:50.
Lostockers were on tour at Parkrun this weekend: Katie Edern ran 31:33 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to finish third in her age category, while Rachel Stevens produced an excellent run at Oosterplas Parkrun in the Netherlands, finishing in 26:45 to place eighth overall, second female and first in her age category.
On the international stage, Paul Edwards represented the club at the Paris Marathon, completing the iconic race in 3:09:52.
