Carol showed real determination at the Stockport Daffodil 10k, battling through illness earlier in the week to reach the start line. Now in its fifth year the Daffodil 10k is held on a closed road course in Stockport starting on Jackson’s Lane and taking in Chester Road/Woodford Road and a section of the A555. The race is described as ‘Undulating out and back route on country lanes and main A road with 707m of gravel paths,’ making this fast and favourite race among run clubs.
Carol had a fantastic race, finishing in an impressive 1:00:38.
