I am honoured to be Life President of our wonderful club, I have been a member since 1983 and have held various posts in that time including 4 stints as Chairman. I have competed in lots of different races over the years mainly on the road inc 4 marathons, Tour of Tameside 4times, also some fell races including the 3 Towers, Anglesarke Amble (winter and summer) Fairfield Horseshoe, Harrison Styckle. I have been through lots of highs and lows with the club and can say without doubt that the last few years have been fantastic, with a great influx of new members who are beginning to take part in all our events, may this continue.
