Gareth has been a member of Lostock since 2018 and is the men’s road co-captain, a qualified Leader in Running Fitness & Wednesday night route planner!
He enjoys racing & running over all distances and terrains ranging from flat road 5K’s to 50 mile trail races in the Lake District and has competed 17 marathons (and counting!)
Gareth is a sports massage therapist and spends most of his day trying to undo the knots, pain & strains caused by running! He loves spending time in the Lakes with his wife, Claire and adorable springer spaniel, Zippy.

Fell Captain Josie had a busy weekend of racing. On Saturday she completed the Three Shires Fell Race. This is a tough race, starting in Ambleside, covering 20k (12.4 miles) and 4000ft elevation gain. Greenhalgh completed the gruelling race in 3:44:18.
